Alliance for Higher Education in Prison

The Alliance for Higher Education in Prison builds and supports the field-wide infrastructure to advance access and excellence in higher education in prison and through reentry. We do this by convening the field, amplifying system-impacted voices, and mobilizing knowledge and resources.

UCLA Underground Scholars

In Fall 2019, the Bruin Underground Scholars program was developed to support the academic experiences of students that identify as formerly incarcerated and/or system impacted. Understanding that our students come from a plethora of walks, we honor the lived experiences of those that have dealt with the direct and indirect experiences of the carceral system.
